TT Mountain Challenge 2011
The first TT races
on the famous 37 ¾ mile, Mountain Circuit in the Isle of Man, were held
in 1911. The Junior race (4 laps) was held on Friday June 30th and the
Senior race (5 laps) was held on Monday July 3rd. 2011
is the centenary of this momentous motorcycling event and
roadracingsupporters.com in conjunction with David & Joyce Plant of
the VMCC can offer you the chance to own the commemorative programme
produced for the
celebrations to mark this Centenary.
A special commemorative souvenir programme, giving the full list of
entrants and documenting the early history of the event as well as
featuring period photography, has also been produced. The programme also
features a foreword by John Surtees, OBE, the only man to win world
championships on two and four wheels and an article by Geoff Duke on his
first TT experiences. It will also contain a copy of the original 1911
TT Races programme. Money raised by programme sales will be donated to
