Mackers, Moz, Mitch and Catweazle!
roadracingsupporters is pleased to bring the following
rider’s blogs to you. All are active members of this website and their stories
are compelling insights into the world of road racing.
We have the irrepressible,
Spirit of the TT award winner, Paul "Moz" Owen. His freely written blog records
his thoughts and achievements from all the meetings at which he competes plus
much more. Paul rides at all the major road race Internationals as well
Scarborough and Aberdare. His distinctive machines in the red and green of his
native Wales can often be seen at the front of the pack.
The 2011 TT Privateer
Champion, Ian "Mackers" Mackman, plots his way through the season with updates
from the Thundersport GB Championship where Ian has a good chance of lifting
the Superstock title if not the Superbike title too. 2011 will be remembered
though for Ian’s phenomenal TT performances when he lifted the coveted TT
Privateers Championship, a cracking good read.
Dutchman "Catweazle" Peter
Heijmans has a long association with roadracingsupporters and whilst his trips
across to the British Isles are limited he has competed at Scarborough and at
the Ulster Grand Prix this year. Peter has an ambition to compete at the Manx
Grand Prix in 2012 and we’ll be following his every progress towards him
achieving that ambition. His main focus remains the International Road Race Championship
for the remainder of the year with events across Europe on some of the toughest road
courses. Read Peter's latest report.
Chris "Mitch" Mitchell ( I think we need to be a little more creative
on the nickname) resides a matter of yards from the famous Mountain Course that
hosts both the TT and Manx GP races. Whilst his career is still in its infancy
Chris is getting plenty of attention for his progress on the track. I’d
strongly recommend that you visit his blog and read about his exploits.
For 2012 we also welocme "Daley Mathison" to our group of riders using our Wordpress facility.
We also
have a couple of other riders, currently taking breaks from the racing scene,
waiting in the wings to start blogging once more. As soon as they do we’ll bring
you their thoughts and words.
